Charlton PC meeting thu 7 Jul at 7pm in the Village Hall. Agenda now available under the Agendas tab.

One point of background information is needed. Cllr Lord Suffolk is unable to attend the meeting. Given that the Charlton Park licence application is on the agenda this is a little unfortunate, so it's important to understand the reason. This is: the PC meeting was originally due on Thu 4 Jul; Cllr Lord Suffolk booked a holiday away with his children in the following week; then the General Election was announced - on our day! We needed to change our day as the Village Hall was needed to be a Polling Station; the Village Hall is always very well booked so we were lucky to find an unbooked evening slot on Thu 11 Jul, and booked it. But of course a booked holiday away cannot be changed like that. However Vanessa Williams who is involved in the project will attend the PC meeting to explain the licence application and answer questions.
